Host responsibilities include:
• Greet visitors, answer questions and be readily accessible to the public.
• Represent Lane County Parks in a professional and appropriate manner at all times.
• Understand and explain rules to park visitors to encourage voluntarily compliance.
• Assist with reservations.
• Sell firewood, ice, annual and day Lane County Parks parking passes.
• Perform janitorial duties and grounds maintenance as assigned per frequency and schedule provided by Lane County Parks.
• Contact Parks staff or law enforcement personnel if/when any emergencies or activities within the park area warrant them.
• Ensure site security and perform daily inspections of campsites, gates, restrooms, showers and other facilities.
Qualifications and required experience:
• 18 years or older
• Own an RV, camper or van conversation
• Strong customer service experience
• Proficient experience in cash handling preferred
• Proficient in email and basic computer skills preferred
• Experience with janitorial and grounds keeping preferred
• Must pass criminal background check
