$70 for first hour on-site (local Eugene area), after that billed in 20 min increments of $20.
I can usually solve most issues with tablets, smart phones, PC, Mac, audio, electronics, etc. I am a patient, respectful IT professional specializing in computer support for seniors and small businesses since 2012. I aim to provide a quality, relationship-based service that makes your device/computing life easier.
Some of the things I commonly help with:
- tablets, smart phones, electronics, audio
- printer / scanner connectivity
- navigating and setting up new email interfaces and systems
- "slow" computer issues, assess "slow internet" responsiveness and recommend solution
- assess whether you are getting the internet speed you are paying for
- upgrade your older pc with a new, fast, Solid State Drive (SSD)
- new computer setup, transfer files from old
- connecting your camera or phone to your computer to download photos
- virus, adware removal
- password recovery
- Windows 11 upgrade, orientation, tutoring
- Macintosh/Apple support
- Set up free MS Office compatible "Libre Office" on your PC so you can write letters, edit documents, etc
- change resolution so things are "bigger" and easier to read on your screen
- set up larger monitor, or TV with your computer, Roku, Netflix, etc to make things easier to see
