"Meditation" is a word that is used in many ways in the modern world. For over 5000 years meditation has been used as a fundamental tool to transform one's life and bring inner peace so that it can manifest in the outer world.
We will explore the richness and profundity of the mind and subtle body bringing key ancient Buddhist meditations into a modern context. Our practice will include subtle body training or LUJONG, which is a set of Tibetan yogic exercises that brings meditation and movement together. This practice-oriented retreat aims at not only making meditation more accessible to everyone in modern life but also aims to help spiritual seekers to establish an authentic meditation practice that leads to deeper spiritual transformation.
Thus, yogis and yoginis on a mat or cushion can bring peace and presence to themselves, society and the world when it is needed most.
