New construction, beautiful hand-crafted wooden boat. The design and construction method have its roots in the hardy Scandinavian tradition.
The boat planks are Port Orford cedar, copper - riveted lapstrake-style, over steam-bent White Oak frames. The fore and aft transoms are book-matched Sapele, a tropical hardwood, similar in appearance to Mahogany. The keel is protected with a brass keel-shoe, and the bottom has brass wear-strips to protect the bottom when the boat is beached.
A new boat trailer, spare trailer tire and a pair of Shaw and Tenney oars are included in the asking price.
This is hand-crafted, not a mass produced product. This boat is stunning and must be seen to be appreciated, the photo’s do not do it justice.
The boat is ideal for recreational rowing or it can be used as a tender for a larger vessel.
