Vintage Wonder horses brought back to life from the scrap yard. These are not toys, they are not meant to ride on. They are old Wonder horses from days gone by and transformed into beautiful, nostalgic works of art. Perfect for a shop window display to catch the eye of a potential customer or a wonderful addition to any area of a home. Placed in a girl's bedroom, a corner of a living room, they create a sense of wonder and nostalgia. These Wonder Horses were rescued and transformed by the artist. Each one was lovingly hand painted with several layers and mounted on a sturdy base. Several layers of clear coating were added to protect the paint. Then, the finishing touches such as glass "gems" and reins embellished with various decorations complete the look. The stands were fashioned using parts of lamps and other things. Most have been topped with a glass crystal or something similar. My latest creation is topped with an American Eagle. The prices start at $200 and go up for the larger ones to $450. For the American Eagle horse the price is $500. I will consider negotiations.
