Due to health problems (2nd stage MS, heart problem, blood clots and my partner recently diagnosed with dementia), I am liquidating my 100+ collection of antique oil lamps. We want to move to Texas next summer to be near rest of my family so there is a support system for the both of us. Due to rising, medical bills, it is becoming increasingly difficult to save funds for the move. We will be selling just about everything in our home to pay for expenses. The truck, gas, at minimum 1 night in hotel on way down, fees and deposits for apartment, (which we hope to have before we arrive so as not to stay with relative while we look for one) and what we will need to set up house. Because we are driving, we do not want to rent a big truck. There will be other sales when the weather gets better but as of now are starting with my lamps to make room in house FOR the other sales.
