These Papua New Guinea native artifacts were collected on site in the Middle Sepik region in the 1970's and were probably decades old at that time. The quality of these vintage pieces is now quite rare. They are hard to find. They are all in good vintage condition.
1 - Sarawak/Borneo Hornbill carving - $149 – 22” x 11” x 4” (Note, there is a chip out of the right side of the lower beak and the left side of the upper beak – visible in the photos)
3 - Middle Sepik cassowary feather headdresses @ $149 each - 16” x 21”. These were used for ceremonial purposes.
