Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bookkeeper to join our team! In this vital role, you will manage our financial records with precision, ensuring accuracy across all bookkeeping functions. A BS in accounting is preferred and cost accounting experience is a plus! Your expertise will support our commitment to sustainable growth by maintaining clear, compliant financial records that reflect our company's values and operational needs.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks. Must be Quickbooks proficient.
Perform general ledger accounting and reconcile accounts regularly to ensure data integrity.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations with attention to detail.
Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Support budgeting activities by analyzing financial data and preparing reports to aid decision-making.
Conduct account analysis, review financial concepts, and perform double-entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial statements.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online.
Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles.
Experience with GAAP compliance, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis.
Knowledge of debits & credits, journal entries, bank reconciliation, and account reconciliation processes.
Familiarity with payroll systems and tax experience related to financial reporting.
Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately for data entry tasks.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high accuracy.
