Hi, I have a nice futon mattress and a nice office chair for free. The reason I am giving them away for free is because the futon had gotten a little bit of mold after I put it down and used it on a carpet that had been freshly cleaned and a little damp. The mold seemed to be just on the shell and I cleaned it off. The chair got left outside in the rain and has gotten a little bit of a musty smell to it. We are sensitive to mold and must so they must go.

UGLY Nikken magnetic theraputic mattress (South Eugene)

I have no idea why I am bothering to post this as this is a really ugly mattress and I am pretty sure anyone who looks at it will run the other direction! But it is a Nikken mattress that uses magnetic through out the mattress for their healing effect( pain management/ improve circulation etc.). It also uses some sort of memory foam, (although more firm than some memory foam mattresses I've seen), that is anti-bacterial and very comfortable to sleep on. So it was at one time, a very nice (and expensive) mattress. The problem is that in addition to a few minor stains and marks, the entire back side of the mattress is basically in shreds. We didn't have a box-spring under it for a long time and just used boards. Turns out, the Nikken mattresses use very flimsy material and the friction from the bed rubbing against the boards over time shreded the fabric on the bottom. So unless you know how to reupholster a mattress, I suspect this mattress may only be suitable for a homeless guy living under a bridge with a bad back. So on the off chance that such a guy is checking the craigslist free ads or that there is someone who needs a mattress and REALLY doesn't care how it looks, I am posting it here. (Its not gross or smelly or anything, just really ugly. ) Here are some pictures of both sides so you can see for yourself.
It is a full sized mattress. I will even throw in the bed frame with wood headboard and baseboard (which you can kind of see in the picture) if you want, as we have no need for them anymore since upgraded to a queen.

Octagonal kitchen table, with insert. ABout 42 inches or so across, without leaf. . it's got a plastic laminate top, wood pattern. . It's been in the weather, mostly covered, but it got wet and the laminate is starting to come up at the edges. Dry it out and a heavy-duty glue and a few clamps should set it back down. Or use it as-is; it's not that bad, but it will be, if it doesn't get a home inside soon. It has a central stand with four legs emanating out from the center at the bottom. The leaf has been stored and did not get wet.

Staff, Poi, Juggling, Contact Juggling, Devil Stix, hoops, Footbag, WHATEVER. I will be bringing LOTS of fun GLOW TOYS to practice indoors with. We can all have some fun and learn from each other.

Then around 8:00 we will be taking it outside to the parking lot to light up!
Bring WHITE GAS if you have any and want to burn. I will provide a limited amount to share.

Kitchen Aid 30" Self Cleaning Oven. This is a white built in oven. It needs a new part that makes the door latch. I used the self cleaning cycle and it melted that part. You can order the part online for around $60 and it is easy to install. You just probably would not be able to use the self cleaning feature again because it gets too hot and melts the part. Otherwise it is in good condition. Top of the line model, convection oven, about nine years old. This was $2,400 new. You haul it and it is yours! First to actually come pick it up gets the oven.

Tis the season for homemade scarecrows; unfortunately I don't have any leaves to do it with! I would like the opportunity to do this with my 4 year old. Anyone have any leaves they wouldn't mind parting with? Doesnt' matter to me whether they are already bagged and ready to go, or if the need to be raked up. I don't mind coming to do this! May seem like a strange question, but I just want to have some fun doing this! I would feel more comfortable if the leaves are in your front yard (that way I don't feel quite as invasive). I can't guarantee that I will remove all of them for you, but certainly enough to make a family of four scarecrows.

We have three sorted piles in front of our house -- all free, please take them!
First -- a pile of sure-pack gravel in the driveway, in front of the gate
Second -- a pile of larger concrete chunks -- all flat, 4" thick, larger than a phone book, good for a wall, a pathway, or as fill
Third -- a pile of small concrete chunks -- all smaller than a baseball, good for drainage, fill, pretty much anywhere you could use stone.

We're across from the Wheeler Pavillion on 13th. Come and get them!

You haul. It is 5 years old, round, the top needs tightening or replacing, the legs are rusty and need a few bolts. It's the biggest one you could get at GI Joes, 5 years ago. Our kids have outgrown it and it is getting close to needing replaced/fixed (though you can still jump on it-one or two at a time) You can also have the swimming pool ladder that the kids use to get up on it, if you want.

Small box of work gloves, different types. Leather to welding? types. More than 6 pairs... I believe most if not all have matching pairs.
I just have waaaaay too many, so these are the culls. They are all still usable.

sugar maple (Acer Saccharum)seed fresh and fairly clean , if you are interested in some I'll send you some.
No gimmicks or ?? Just don't want to toss them in the garbage.
Sugar Maples are very beautiful fall trees, brilliant reds, oranges and yellows. They also
are the trees you can tap for syrup and boil down to make maple syrup. I have yet to try this with
my trees. Birds love these trees as well. Sapsuckers visit my every year. Very enjoyable to watch
them tap the trees and sip the sap. There are lots of advice to sowing the seed on the internet.
Around here I just plant them in the fall and the moist cold weather sprouts them .
