My sister joined the Peace core a little over a year ago. When she was sent to Malawi, Africa her main goal was to help the children. She started the Malawi Music Project that kicks off on November 30th. The goal is to educate the children and communities of the HIV/AIDS pandemic and other environmental skills that the Malawi communities can use to improve their living conditions. They need only 1,000 dollars to bring two bands around Malawi to different communities to spread their message. I have attached the Facebook link so you can look at the article that was written.
