I am the captain of a "Coed" indoor soccer team.

We are just now starting our fifth season together, and we are in need of adding 3 additional players 1 guy and 2 girls. It would also be great (but not neccessary) if you had some expierence playing midfield.

We are a fun group of friends who are out to have a good time playing soccer.

I graduated from the UO and stayed in town. But being that all of my friends moved out of state/town I'm looking to meet others and try out new activities to keep busy. Im a 24 year old female. I work with a few but much older people, and being the youngest its hard to socialize. But I like doing athletic activities, cooking, dancing, anything that involves learning how to make things. I've looked in the newspaper and found some cooking classes at two businesses in Eugene. But does anyone have any good ideas for me? I know there is stuff out there, I just think I'm failing at finding it and not knowing exactly where to look. So I would appreciate any suggestions so I can keep busy or help me meet folks. Thanks!

Right now there are chanterelle and lobster mushrooms coming up.
Yes it is "on the coast," I do not mean down by the Willamette, or in the park just out side of town, or some other place closer than the coast, but actually at times in view of the ocean.

This is not a commercial opportunity, though if you're interested I'm happy to teach you; but I'm tired of people who don't even want to eat any mushrooms, and expect me to sell their mushrooms for them! And then they expect get-rich scheme! Too much drama! I just want to pick mushrooms, with people who enjoy mushrooms.

Do not contact me asking about hallucinogenic mushrooms. Ask some kid on a streetcorner, geeze! lol (they'll still ask wtf)

Hopefully those disclaimers at least reduce the weird responses a little bit. :P

Also, the location is in a National Forest, and free permits are available.

Aloha mai kakou! A weekly Hawaiian music song circle (kanikapila) has been scheduled at the River Road Parks & Recreation community center in Eugene and we're looking for fellow musicians of all ages to jam with. Ukulele, guitar players welcome!

Looking for beginners who can play basic chords to the more seasoned veterans looking to add that little something new to their musical repertoire.

Mission is to have fun (of course!), learn something new (always!), and spread awareness of our island culture (most definitely!).

Music will be primarily Hawaiian melodies with an infusion of music from other islands.

Are there anymore boxers around here? (Eugene)

I live here in the Eugene area and have been trying to find someone or a group of people who get together to train for boxing. There isn't anymore gyms in Eugene and I would like to start training since I was always too busy to in high school. If anyone knows what Myron Johnson from West Eugene Boxing club or anyone from the Shamrock are doing these days please reply. Or if you are interested in starting a little boxing session or something.

Do you already know how to play the sport of cricket or want to learn how? We have a club team here in Eugene and there is a cricket league in Oregon. It is similar to baseball or softball and we have all the equipment. If you would like to get invloved, send me a note saying if you already know how to play or not and whether or not you are a U of O student (either is OK)!

Always wanted to learn the beautiful art form of Hawaii? Immerse yourself in the beauty and history of the traditional dance of the hula.

Learn more than the dance! You will be introduced to terminology, footwork and hand movements and be able to apply them to music or accompanied by drum chants. Learn at your own pace. A great low-impact form of exercise.

We are just starting it back up, so we many only have a few people, but it would be fun to get together, have some refreshments, and talk about the new personal growth direction we are heading for our group.
